Judy Pomerantz, our business practice leader, has more than 19 years of experience as an accountant for public and private firms.
She spent 10 years in public accounting after graduating from Northeastern University with an accounting degree in 1984. As a CPA with one small and another mid-sized accounting firm, she audited companies, reviewed financial statements and worked to resolve clients’ financial concerns. She also prepared and reviewed tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations.
Her clients included retail and manufacturing companies as well as real estate managers and developers.
Judy spent an additional six years working in the budget and finance department of SunLife Financial Services, where she reviewed corporate expenses and shared responsibility for establishing annual budgets.
She joined Goloboy CPA LLC in 2005 and focuses on corporate and individual tax returns. She also provides bookkeeping services and financial statement reviews for many of our business clients.
A resident of Sharon, Mass., she is the financial secretary for the East Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization, Treasurer of Temple Israel’s Hebrew School PTO, and a member of Hadassah. She is also active in Temple Israel of Sharon. She and her husband, Paul, have two boys.
