Amy Wasserman’s expertise lies in the management and marketing of hospitals and other non-profit clients. As our chief operating officer and firm administrator, Amy focuses on our non-profit clients. She also provides bookkeeping services for many of our professional services clients.
With an MBA in health administration and marketing from the University of Chicago, Amy spent nearly a decade in the marketing departments of several area hospitals.
At Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, for example, she negotiated contracts and developed proposals for managed care programs. She also developed and marketed services and employee assistance programs for a small, private hospital in Lynn.
She began her career as a mental health worker with McLean Hospital in Belmont, where she planned and implemented therapy programs for patients.
In addition to her MBA, Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, cum laude, from Brandeis University. She lives in Sharon, Mass., with her husband, Steven, and three daughters. A part-time Hebrew school teacher, Amy is active in the Parent Teacher Organizations of her children’s schools as well as the Sharon Education Foundation. She previously served on the board of Temple Sinai in Sharon.
